IF I WANT TO PROCEED WITH THE ORDER, WHAT HAPPENS NEXT?

After we receive a fifty percent (50%) deposit (see details at the bottom of your quote), an appointment for a check measure (if one is necessary) will be arranged. Any shutters order and any order with installation or design issues assessed from the decorator’s photo record (e.g. bay windows etc) will undergo check measure. However quoted price is a firm price. A Confirmation Advice with any extra details noted will then be sent to you for checking. It will advise when your order is likely to be completed, generally, it will take 2 to 5 weeks, depending on the type of product and the size of your order. It also acts as a receipt advice for your deposit paid. You will be advised when your order is ready, and, if an installation is included, an appointment will be made for the installation to be completed between 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday. PLEASE NOTE: Unlike many firms, we do not request payment before installation, but it is due as soon as the job has been completed and installed and all is well.

Comparing quotations for curtains and soft furnishings is difficult because standards in the manufactured product differ, as do service and backup during and after the sale. We can’t guarantee the lowest price but we do guarantee you peace of mind that you have had the best advice and design whatever the budget. Our quotations are computer generated and accurately calculated in material and labour costs. Discounts for volume are built-in, and will have already been allowed. Our quoted price is the price. Our standard curtain tracks are made-to-measure styleline, not the cheaper expandable ones. Returns to the wall are standard with our tracks, as is increased stackback where advisable (your quotation should mention this). Our hand draw track price includes control wands, and overlaps for centre open curtains. Our roman blind prices include metal headrails (Acmeda, the best) and stainless steel chain operation (not cord & pulley) at no extra charge. Our spline lath style option (no stitch lines showing) is standard. Our panel blind prices include an upholstered fascia, covered in the same fabric as the blind, to cover the hardware for a professional finish. The spline lath style option relieves any plainness of the look at no extra cost. Where fabrics are concerned, we cater to the full market. If your Andersons quote is more than you wish to spend, there are less expensive options in fabric selection for your curtains or blinds. We have ‘stock’ ranges and usually have no difficulty being competitive if the price is the main determinant.

WHAT IS YOUR GUARANTEE?

Yes the standard 3 yrs workmanship and materials, but......... more than that, you have a personal guarantee from Dean Anderson, owner, and very much hands-on manager. Dean oversees the design and specification of all orders and personally does most of the check measures that are required. If you have any concerns during or after a sale, talk to Dean. With Andersons, you purchase the premium of security in the quality of the work we produce, and the full-service backup, should any adjustments be required.
